Job Overview: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Designer Assistant to support our design team. This role involves assisting in the development and execution of shoe designs from concept to final product, ensuring they meet DARLIN's standards of style and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and revision of footwear designs, including sketching, prototyping, and material selection.
- Support the design team in researching the latest fashion trends, colors, materials, and techniques.
- Prepare presentation materials for design reviews and product pitches.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and follow up on product development stages.
- Maintain and organize design archives, materials, and samples.
- Assist in quality control processes to ensure final products meet design specifications.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Fashion Design, or a related field.
- Strong foundational skills in drawing and design, with a good eye for detail.
- Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to fast-paced environments.
- Passion for fashion and footwear with a desire to learn and grow within the industry.
